This project has been
delayed. It was doubtful whether we would be able to move forward, but we have
now reach the next phase and hope to be able to kick this off soon (whatever that
might imply). The tracks presented in this series will be published on a single
blog page at komplott.com and via a podcast /
rss, which you can subscribe to. Via Path Dependence we will highlight material
that is at least 10 years old or older, focusing on previous releases. The
material will primarily consist of outtakes from the released album, demo
tracks and other things that, in one way or another, are connected to Komplott
and the artists we have worked with since our launch. The first tracks that
will appear here are based on the first Komplott-album, Figurera, released in
August 1999.

music for over ten years now. We're not going to celebrate this by
releasing a re-mastered compilation box, but we're planning on doing
something to throw some light on our past releases.
Path Dependence is the name of this parallel time line and we're planning to launch this thing before the start of June 2009.

VF#2 will feature two main stories; one with Sundin's
recollections of a trip to Spain in 2006 and his meeting with , amongst
others, the Spanish super (hero?) composer of silence:
Francisco López
(who also can be heard - or not - on the included vinyl 7") ; and
another which is an attempt to decipher the enigmatic and somewhat
incomprehensible German cult film
Decoder from 1983 which
features legendary underground heroes such as Genesis P. Orridge, FM
Einheit and William S. Burroughs in leading roles and cameos.
VF#2 is scheduled for a December release and is very likely to be the Christmas present of the year!

2009 05 14Andreas Bertilsson's work with his next album, Själens Ö, has been
carried out during the spring and continues
until mid-summer when it's supposed to proceed with the album
mastering. Bertilsson has involved over 14 musicians for the album and
he will arrange, play and
produce all tracks. Among the musicians involved are
Joel Wästberg, Samuel Hällkvist, Sofia Dahlgren, Mattias Rodrick,
John Essing, Johanna Ericsson, Åsa Ahlander, Oskar Hallberg among
others. The album
will be mastered by Linus Sjölund who also worked with Bertilsson on
previous Komplott albums.
2009 01 31Andreas Bertilsson is working on his next album, "Själens ö". The album tracks are settled and the material
is currently being recorded in the studio.
The
album was supposed to be released in March 2009, but the process of
recording and mastering continues during the spring and the album will
probably be released later in 2009.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME

“It is clearly obvious”, C. continued, his sober, ascertaining voice as
distant from the alarming meaning of his words as from his increasingly
chaotic mind, “that time is running out of time!” The small clique of
friends and foes involuntarily barricaded together on the navigation
bridge took none or very little notice of his statement. It really was
too hot, the whole situation far too stifling for anyone to even try to
bother understanding the meanings of words. Utterances were, at this
point, perceived as nothing more than spluttering combinations of
sounds referring to no meanings beyond their existence as sound waves
moving through space, barely shouting down the pulsating sounds echoing
through the body of the ship.
